Wilder ain't got **** but size and muscles. Mark my words, he won't even be a factor in five years and the moment he steps up against opposition with skill, he's going to get beat.

He hasn't got the skills to capitalise on the size he has and although he has a big punch, nobody cares if you can't land it.

 

This is a debate neither of us can win yet. Predicting 5 years into the future is nearly impossible so you may be right. He could flash out but alas, no way to tell.

He won a Bronze Medal! The only American to win a medal in the Olympics, and he only started Boxing at 19. He's 23, when do you want him to turn pro? 33? You know very little about this fighter and the sport in general. He has all ready learned the craft and he's polishing his craft because he's raw.

 

It's simply too early to say much about him. He has the physical tools, but it has to be seen how he develops. He needs basic setups, a number of solutions, and some kind of defense, which largely relies on his reflexes. He needs a LOT of basic practice. But it's too early to say he cannot get it.

Boystov is the real deal. He may actually be the man to beat 3 years from now.

 

5 years from now, both Klitschko and Haye will be retired. They both have other things they want to do with their lives that they need their mental faculties for.

wouldnt it be great if someone like a Tyson came along and really brought prestige to the heavyweight title. Though we can only hope.
