Magee WILL be his toughest fight to date, but in terms of technique, this hasn't showed to a certain extent IMO because of the types of fights he has been in the last two times. i.e. grapplers

Plus on here, i have stated already that i consider ste to probably have better technical skills than paul. But Paul is a different type of fighter to ste, surely people can see that

Maybe he is, but as you know, i am a smigga fan, and i am going to keep banging the drum. I look forward to the debate, but i am afraid nothing is going to dissuade me in terms of my opinion. But i make no mistake about the fact that magee is by far the thoughest and best opponent that smith will have faced.

At the end of the day, smigga looked as good as ste at their respective stages of their careers. I am not saying that ste wont maybe go further than paul, but smigga is where he is at because he always finds a way to win, and he is a better operator than he is given credit for.
Ste undoubtedly looks a class act so far in his career, and i expect him to maybe move on quicker than paul has, but at the end of the day smigga is where he is through being a winner, knowing how to win, detrmination and skill.
Dodson and quigley fights weren't classics, or great fights, but i found them enthralling to watch.
They didn't showcase the true talents of any of the fighters on display i accept that. But smigga had to contend with a set of the worst cuts i have seen against dodson, a man who came to spoil all night.
against quigley, i feel he was n against an underrated fighter, and came out as the stronger man landing cleaner shots, and doing cleaner work.
I took my old man to the quigley and dodson fights, who loves boxing, but has no interest in any one individual fighter, and he though smith won both fights, but had the quigley one close as i did. But he did say as poor a spectacle as they were at points, you can see smith thinking about what he is doing, and maybe at times he is over-ponderous, and throws the right hand a bit happy somtimes, you can see there is a level of skill there that can take him to be a fringe world level fighter.
