i would argue that quigley was a worthy, and much underrated opponent. You can only fight who is in front of you (cliché i know). but paul has always said he wants to fight the top domestic opponents, and then move on, he is doing this now, i just dont understand why people are on his case so much about this.
I think we need to put to bed smith v groves, because it isn't going to happen. Groves has not fought any one right now who would give smigga any trouble. Adamu, we found out is a totally spent force, but the stoppage was bull ****.

i think paul smith is facing the biggest challenge of his career in facing magee. It will be a tough nights work. Magee is a euro/fringe world level fighter, a gate keeper if you will, and will pose new problems for paul.

By saying this i recognise that this is no easy night for paul, and i am sure he knows it also. But let's not mug paul off by saying he has no hope. End f the day it is easy for people to say magee to tko etc, and then back track if smith wins, as the easy cop out is to say magee is shot, too old to compete etc.
If magee wins, i will be a gracious fan in defeat as long as there is no bull **** decision.
i expect the same people who give smith no chance to come on here and give credit, as many did after the dodson win, again as loing as there is no bull **** decision.
