At thurman current level it's not a risky fight cause he ain't don't ****, it's a fight he has no choice but to take cause he needs a coming out party
I think this is solid...But I'll pick Thurman. Devon's style causes Thurman major problems...I think Thurman will get credit for making the fight...and take the close decision. Good fight Thurman is walking the walk...
Alexander is a massive step up for thurman. Easily the most skilled guy he will have fought. This is a great fight. Can't wait. I'd take Alexander though. To much skill and experience. Wouldn't be upset if I was wrong tho. God knows thurman would breath more life into the sport than Devon ever has.
Hell yeah. 'The Great' gives Thurman a straight up Natural-Bridge-And-Kingshighway-White-Castle's-lot level beating! :smoke STL, stand up!!!
It's not like we haven't seen Thurman adjust before against Zavek and Chaves. Neither one of those guys are Devon Alexander but Thurman has shown the ability to change game plan mid fight.
its gonna be good to see what happens so i think its a great fight! be good to see how Thurman fights Alexanders style. for Thurmans POV hes seen what Alexander doesnt like or whats beat him before so Thurman needs to do some of that. some pressure and roughing up alexander then Alexander has no shot to win
This means Thurman will finally get tested . Because No matter what the result is , Alexander is never a walk in the park . He always brings it and his skills are respectable . So far Chaves has give Thurman his toughest test to date , Lets see if Alexander can present more of a challenge .
True. People better know though, if he dominates and stops Alexadner then i dont want to hear any hating on him. Im already sure somebody will say "well Devon has no power, wait till Matthysse or maidana fight him" I just hate when ppl hate on another fighter after a win. From what I seen though..MOST people love this fight so Thurman should get his due if he wins. Devon should too :bbb:bbb
Great fight to judge where Thurman's level is. Alexander's quick, but still a little too amateurish in his offense. If Thurman fights a disciplined, fundamentally sound fight, his heavier shots should get him a points win. Get physical with him (ala Bradley and Porter) and focus on the jab to disrupt his distance (as Kotelnik did), and there's success to be had. Devon's no easy out, though. Even if the blueprint's there, he's not going to just let Keith execute it. Good fight.
