Round 8 This is like a sparring session now, Donaire pumping the jab followed by the occasional right hand. Very passive he seems to be, no aggression. Marquez is trying but he can't do much and now Donaire looks to step it up but Marquez is taking it all. The Mexican sure is taking a lot of punishment. OMG!!! A beauty of a left uppercut drops Tyson, he gets up but they've stopped it at the corners request. Brilliant, brilliant punch to finish it. Marquez was a little better than I thought. I've seen him in the past a few times, I couldn't recall who he was until I saw him in the ring. Good decision by the corner considering Donaire was stepping it up and would have hammered him into submission. Kids only 21, gotta consider that.
Marquez down at 112 with this new trainer could be something decent. Only 21 so has a long career ahead of him.
