A decision win for Peñalosa seems impossible since the fight will be in Puerto Rico. The stack are really against Gerry on this one. His only hope is to ko Lopez.

Nah gerry aint crazy. This is a big payday for him so why pass it up? Gerry is old i think he is 35-or 36. What does he have to lose?

shade of dlh-jcc? lopez has the edge in practically everything except ring savvy.

lopez knows that gerry has a knock out punch, either to the body or to the head and that will make him think twice about approaching the fight as if its a picnic.

a 4th round destruction, max? a bit off into dreamland i guess.

i know gerry i 35/36 but he has never been knocked out. if lopez wants a rumble, a rumble he will get.

I would probably be laughing whoever picked Gerry to get KOed aftermath. He might get outworked by he will never get KOed.

    Gerry UD! Bet on that.

gerry is not going to get knocked out. gerry gets cut easily though. he bled against feather fisted fighters in tokuyama and choo so a stoppage by cuts is possible. the most likely outcome is juanme by clear decision. gerry just does not throw enough punchers and lopez could just keep him at bay with jabs and move a lot.

if lopez is smart, he'll do exactly what de leon did against gerry. if he gets riled up and engages gerry in a slugfest, gerry's chance will rise. i still cant see him defeating lopez by decision because it will be in puerto rico and he is the bigger name. but gerry might catch lopez with something. puncher's chance i guess.

    still, WAR GERRY.
