And Zuniga has a headlike a rock, and niether guy is fancy. They'd be right in the middle of the ring beating the holy living **** out of each other until somebody can't continue. Zuniga cuts! He has those protruding brow ridges, and that would probably be his downfall.

That's an exciting fall, because these fights will change completely the look of the division. And since everybody is fighting at the same time, any match up could be done afterwards.

    "any match up could be done afterwards." {quote}

very true as the Lacy-Taylor winner will be the WBC mandatory and most likely face the Froch-Pascal winner

hopefully the above will go on to face Kessler .. or Mikkel can go a different route and try for the Bute-Andrade winner.

regardless good for the sport, as these match ups should be competitive and hopefully it can get us closer to an Undisputed Super Middle champ.

Great action happening at 168.. I see Froch beating Pascal and Taylor beating Lacy, thus having Froch vs Taylor in which Taylor will become the new WBC SMW champion.. Hopefully we'll see some unification bouts after this upcoming schedule.. If Bute wins, perhaps Bute vs Kessler, but I really wanna' see a fight between Kessler vs Taylor down the road..

Kessler/Taylor is probably one of the best fights that could happen at 168 next year.

I wanna see Bute - Kessler then the winner to fight Pavlik.

I think Taylor needs to impress again first...

I don't see any reason why AA should stay at 160 after the fight against Pav.

AA with more weight is even more dangerous...

AA probably should move up after Pavlik, win or lose. 160 is just so devoid of talent right now that moving up is the only way to get big fights for big money. After Pavlik/Abraham there is absolutely nothing left. Unless you count winky, and who knows what Winky is going to do, or how he will look if he does fight again.

Andrade backflips his way to victory over Zuniga if the two meet up.

168 is a very underrated division IMO as even the 6th best SMW (IMO Edison Miranda) could compete with the top guys.

I can't wait to see some of the top match ups filter out. Fights like Kessler-Bute, Andrade-Pavlik, Froch-Taylor, Taylor-Andrade and such would all be worth the price of admission.

That are all very good fights, looks like small version of 135lb
where all the significant players are involved in the party.

Simply put: SMW is the hottest division today.

    Predictions:
    Inkin UD Zuniga
    Bute SD Andrade
    Kessler KO8 Haussler
    Oganov TKO Direll
    Bika UD Manfredo
    Cordington TKO McKinnon
Taylor UD Jeff Lacy (possible retirement on injury)

Oganov over Direll seems like an odd pick. The guy has fought one opponent who wasn't an absolute can, and got a beating. What are you basing your prediction on?

Tough call, I can tell you that... but I've seen Direll getting hurt and I've seen him fighting unmotivated... you can't do that vs. a puncher like Oganov. Yes, he was knocked out by Zuniga, a huge puncher, no excuses. But I think that fight (in which he was cut badly) makes the difference in experience. I simply feel he will be the first one to hurt the other and who does that wins the fight.
