I know he got knocked out in the first, and I do got video of his ankle looking like it was twisted, but if I put it up you know how EB is But did ya see the head movement the bounce in his foot movement, I loved how he was fighting Vitali, I know Haye saw some good things in their, I have to give team Solis a A for game plan but D for execution, and I also love when he picked spots to explode. I think Vitali has showed he can be beat, unfortunately there's only one other heavy weight in this era who has the speed, head movement and footwork to do the same. Vitali was "exposed"? One can't expose Vitali if one can't take his bombs. Plain and simple. Lewis took Vitali's shots and battled back. That's how you beat Vitali. Lewis took 100+ shots from Vitali without going down. Fat slob Solis brain goes into a short-circuit on the first shot he takes. Exposed my ass.
Solis did well for 2 and a half minutes which means very little. He did something that few do to Vitali and moved and boxed, using his speed to catch Vitali coming in with counters but Vitali quickly wised up. He taunts Solis and Solis falls for the trap and rushes him, Vitali steps back and counters Solis and drops him. Solis did well while on the back foot but it didn't take much for Vitali to draw him in and get countered back. It took Vitali less than a full round to figure Solis' tatics out and stop him.
Yes, Solis did well in the first round, and Vitali looked a little slow. But to conclude from that Vitali has now been exposed is a foregone conclusion. Remember, that this was just an opening round. Moreover, Vitali was also able to connect on Solis, and any VK opponent potentially has to endure this for 12 rounds.

when we look at last night its seems really obvious that tyson would beat vitali, so that saves threads on this fantasy match up.
I didn't see this, man. Nothing in Solis' performance/gameplan/fighting style made me think about Tyson...never mind Tyson beating Vitali...
Exposed? Please. You can't take the fisrt round when fighters are not acustomed to each others rythms and say that 1 or two punches that did land mean that he is exposed. Its boxing, people get hit. And imo he took the shots well.

the explosiveness, prime mike would bob and weave and explode on klitschko, with his bad footwork and hands low he would get tagged, right before getting ****ed up solis exploded on vitali but he wasnt fast enough and when vitali leaned back and countered it was done, but he didnt miss by that much. I think mike with his speed and power would definitely catch him leaning back. Thats what I meant, but I dont want to turn it into a mike vs vitali thread. Dont get me wrong though, I think very highly of vitali and think he fights great and with a great ring iq but against the tyson from the 80's I think the vitali from last night gets beat.
Tyson v Vitali is a hard one. Vitali has an unbelievable chin, Tyson had unbelievable power to coincide with his speed. Anyone can be knocked out IMO when caught with the right punch. If Vitali could survive and take Tyson's punches in the early rounds, whilst dealing out his own damage...I'd pick Vitali to win via decision probably.
