He has, no doubt. But he was down on the cards and had been dropped. He rallied well to be fair. But compare that to how he looked against Whyte. He looked SO slow and cumbersome. Whyte isn't a puncher either so for him to spark him out like that is worrying IMO
The only problem is, it wouldn't be the same Browne who beat Chageav that shows up against Allen. The Browne that turned up to fight Whyte was a man who was leaving the pub every evening after downing 6 pints of stella alongside a tray full of donor kebabs.
In shape and with a good camp? Definitely. The Browne who showed up against Whyte probably loses a decision, maybe even stopped late. Remember Allen went the distance with Whyte and took very little damage, he could probably outpoint that Browne even fighting that negative.
Not judging by what he was like against Whyte, he looked totally finished, like a tough guy out of the crowd that was filling in for someone
Allen will win Brown is crap .Brown looks like a forty something divorcee who has hit the gym ! Rubbish
As much as I like Allen, I think Browne will beat him. Yes, Browne looked very bad against Whyte, but I think he wins. I will be rooting for Allen anyway.
The condition Browne showed up in vs. Whyte makes me question if he should get back in the ring at all. He should retire.
and to think there are some out there that are hoping for a Brown vs Parker fight. Brown should retire while he can so that no pimple faced promoter can use him up and take advantage of him.
Allen is a nice guy but pretty rubbish. But Brown barely moved in his last fight. If Allen has trained hard if fancy him to UD Brown.
I was screaming no when I first read it because I don’t want Dave Allen to get destroyed, he seems like a nice guy. But the more I think about it, I don’t think he’d get KTFO or anything. He’d probably just lose a UD after getting outboxed in a hideous fight
If Browne couldn't get himself up for the last one which would have propelled him towards big rewards, then I really can't see him getting himself up for an undercard stinker against Dave Allen. Allen on the other hand, has always been game, and I think that's all it might take to get a decision over Lucas Browne now. Allen by decision
