    Alexander is snapping the right jab and pushing out on the medial side of his lead foot, planting and landing another quick right jab with a left uppercut behind it. Purdy comes forward, into a straight left lead from Alexander. Nice sharp right jabs by Alexander while circling. Big combo by Alexander, right hook to the body and straight left through the guard. Very crisp combos by Alexander. Purdy is coming forward in a tight shell. Double jab between the gloves by Alexander, leaning in and driving his right shoulder up into Purdy to shove him back. Chopping rights by Purdy. Counter straight lefts by Alexander. BIG right hand dropped in by Purdy, catching Alexander below the left eye. Right forearm push by Alexander, jabbing from mid-range and hopping clockwise around Purdy. Left hook by Purdy. Big right shovel hook by Alexander. Trading shots until the bell.

    Good first round for Devon. Purdy did land a couple good, solid, rights, but overall good combos from Alexander.
