It had been a while he wasn't really using them (previous fights). I never understood why but fortunately his team made the important adjustments from the Zuniga fight on.
A guy claiming to had been training in the gym where Andrade's camp was held (and who had a bone to pick with Andrade's trainer) said Andrade suffered a broken rib a few days before the fight. I even think he said it was the trainer'a fault.
I watched a tribute video to him posted on here the other day and I saw the same body shot put down about 7 different fighters. I can't believe he gets away with it but he does.
Yeah i don't remember exactly but i think in the zuniga fight the showtime commentators explains that the uppercut that Bute trows needs perfect timing in order to not expose himself to a counter.
.....his face Bute is a ****ing badass. Best body attack i think the sport has seen since JCC or RJJ, honestly.
Yeah, now that I think about it..the last time I recall him using it (pre-Andrade I) was against Bika. Though I don't have the best recollection of Bute's fights with Joppy and Berrio. Yeah, uppercuts can be dangerous. 16 sec. mark [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZEcngtpAtE[/ame]
In this pic take a close look at Lucian's deltoid, trapazoid, lat, tricep. That, my brother, is where all that freaking power lies.
