Berrio Ko'ed the current #2 Ring Magazine and #4 Boxrec ranked WBO SMW Champ Robert Stieglitz. :nut

Andrade was ranked #3 after Kessler and Bute once.

Which is why I said Andrade is the only name worth bragging about when it comes to Bute's entire career.

Berrio is no one worth bragging about really.

I think if anything it shows how styles make fights .

I personally think that Bute is the only fighter to give Ward trouble.

Based on what???:patsch Bute has no insdie game, no headmovement, and has leaky defense.

Based on his speed , much quicker than both Kessler and Froch .

Bute looks like he struggles with out and out punchers , Ward is not a puncher but quick and a very good boxer.

I didnt say anywhere that he beats Ward , just that I dont think he would get stopped and wouldnt get totally shut out like Froch and Kessler did.

Froch was able to pick him apart at range and we all know Bute has NO inside game.

Come on bro, Ward would dominate him easily.

Kessler clearly beat Froch. People try to re-write history.

Im not so sure , yes I was surprised at how the fight went , and I am from the UK and a Froch fan , but I still believe certain styles cause other fighter trouble .

I just think that Froch will always have his number , but I think Bute may still surprise a few people.

:patsch He doesnt have this monsterous power puncher to beat Bute...Power isnt everything in boxing...Hell, if Froch was able to have success at range, there is no doubt in my mind that Ward will do the samething and get on the inside and rip him apart.

Ward may not be a puncher but I will promise you this, Ward will be hitting Bute cleanly and he wont be able to eat those shots all night.

Also, Bute doesnt have the chin to take flush shots for a 12 round fight.

Again, how do you come up with the logic that Bute will give him his toughest fight when he doesnt hold the right advangtages to get to Ward?

    Thats how it works.

    Undefeated champ to total bum.

Froch actually looked faster than Bute. Bute did stun Froch a few times but Froch clearly won every round and as an earlier poster said his face was like "is this it". Bute may go the distance with Ward but I couldn't see him giving him much problems.

Why can there never be any middle-ground on this place?

Bute has gone from being a ducked, feared, dangerous opponent who Ward was ducking to a C level protected hypejob on the back of one loss against an elite fighter.

I'm about as far from a Bute fan as it's humanly possible to concieve, but he is a very good fighter who happened to run into a better fighter who was well and truly in the zone. I was in the arena on fight night, and everything was in place for Carl. Bute was visibly worried and the crowd was as hostile a crowd as you're ever likely to witness in a boxing arena.

If Bute was ****, he wouldn't have defeated Andrade, Bika, Johnson, Magee etc. They aren't elite fighters, but they're all very good fighters and you have to be very, very good to beat them. 30-0 (24 KO's) and 10-0 (8KO's) in world title fights before the Froch fight shows he isn't ****.

Fact is, he wasn't as good as his deluded nuthuggers thought, but he certainly isn't as bad as some of his critics suggest either. He's a very, very good fighter who can come again and he could certainly beat some more good fighters in the future. Just stay away from Carl Froch!

Let's see what Bute does in his next few fights.
