He was in Ytown for the last Pavlik fight. If come to Ytown I'm sure he'd go to Montreal....... Always my first choice... :yep

 

Yea, I like Smoger. I think he wanted Miranda to win the fight against Pavlik. I heard he told Edison in the locker room before the fight that he saw what happened in Germany and thought it was awful. He promised Edison he would give him a fair fight. He said after the fight that he thought about stopping it earlier but knew Edison could be one punch away from changing everything and as long he was fighting back he did not want to stop what could have been the fight of the year. Unfortunately that punch never landed and Smoger did the right thing and finally had to call it off.

My point is, I think he not influenced by his feelings or who hires him. He is very fair and neutral. I wish there were more like him. He is my #1 ref. Dont get me wrong, he's no Marion Wright though. :roll:
