Lucian Bute vs. Edison Miranda

I think the main problem in this fight for Bute won't be Miranda's power but his jab.

Bute's jab is really not that good. Miranda has a pretty good jab and has significant reach advantage over Bute. If he can get his jab going in the early rounds he could prevent Bute from getting into his groove. Forcing Bute to be more aggressive and careless. Which could result in opportunities to land a big punch for Miranda.

 

People are simply 'hoping' he lands like Andrade did. I dont' think anyone is going to go out and put their whole paycheck down on Edison.

 

never been sold on bute... there are people that are considering eating to meet him and people considering a hard diet to meet him beat him...

I don't see it.. you guys like him like i like valero....we believe in some cats off the radar that will be something big...

bute is already a big blip... i just see him like i seen jermain taylor back in the day before i was right right ...and right again.

I'd say Bute's chin is fine considering he took some big shots and got dropped only once when he had health problems being very fatigue in the last round and it took a barrage of punches from a very busy fighter like Andrade


Miranda need's to pull of some woodoo magic to put Bute in the same health situation like Andrade1 fight to be able to catch him

 

It's going to be like Ward vs Miranda only this time after Bute easily take 1 dimensional Miranda to school, he will tko or ko Miranda in the late rounds.

 

...help me out here........ what the **** was bute's defining moment that made him so many believers... the andrade fight?...the war against whoever?... you will forget that guys name just like you will forget bute's name in time....

You are entitle to your opinion. There are many people here who have a similar opinion of Bute.

 

I don't think it was just one moment. But ...

Beating 2 top 5 guys in his weight class? Beating other thought fighters? He's skills?

Hardly all time great opposition but they were all solid fighters who were ranked among the best in the world at 168lbs when Bute fought them.
