Bute got kayo´d in the first fight with Andrade but got a decision Abraham got his jaw shattered and still beat Miranda Both destroyed their opponents in a rematch. Bute picked up an washed up Miranda Kessler beat Andrade convincingly even before he ko´d Bute.
why still talking about the first Bute-Andrade fight? Bute just ended the discussion with the 2nd fight, Andrade just got lucky in the first fight in the last round Bute won every rounds... You can't stop a title fight with 10 seconds left when the champ is still up you have to kill the champ to be the champ
bc thats Butes career defining moment :yep same thing with the Abraham vs Miranda story you came up with. no questions left after the rematch. Bute was out and in absolutely no condition to continue. such a thing has never happened to one of the five super6 startup members yet. at least not from a legal punch.
Froch should have lost to Dirrell. Ward got no warning for headbutting all night. Abraham was disqualified against Dirrel. Abraham-Miranda 1 should have been stopped. What are you talking about? Bute's career defining moment is his second fight against Andrade. Instead of being cautious, he went for the ko. He got it. He's the only one to have done it to Andrade. Kessler didn't.
Most rankings had Bute first before the super six began. Bute was ahead Kessler, who wasn't the man. Kessler had been inactive for a while and had not been impressive in his last 3 wins before the super 6. Bute's resume is deepest than Ward's, who has the best win. Put Ward, Bute or Dirrell first, it's all ok for me (in my book Dirrell did more than well against Froch and was impressive against Abraham). Froch didn't look good at all against Dirrell and lost to Kessler. I can't see how this could make him pass Bute. Abraham won against a shot Taylor and lost against Dirrell. I can't see how this thin resume at 168 could make him pass Bute. Kessler lost to Ward and won against Froch, in a fight in which he didn't look good at all, with a deceptive accuracy. Green? Ha! Ha! I don't understand why you don't understand. Losing to a solid opponent doesn't make you go up in the rankings. A defeat makes you go down. But since there are so many super 6 fighters fans here, all of them wants their fighter to be in front of Bute and agree together. That doesn't mean you're right. Anyway, one day Bute will face the super six fighters and we'll know who's better.
In what I read, Golden Boy Promotion (Andrade's team) never officially protest to the IBF for the end of Bute-Andrade 1. According to IBF rules, he had only to stand and the fight was already over. If you KO boxers who are top 10, top 15 in the early rounds with one or two power- punch combinated with chirurgical precision ( as some of this fighters never been Koed, Andrade, Zuniga, lost to Pavlik from a cut) It legitimate your place at number 1. Kessler was only the favorite at the beginning of the tournament, not the man of the division but marketing had mixed the two. With the Calzague leaving (the man of the division), the tournament would be the best opportunity to crown a new true champ but Showtime has prefered to make politics, marketing strategy to please at their american audience and don't invited Bute. I suspect also Showtime to remove Bute and also Bika, for giving more chances for their american fighters. In my book, not sure that Froch wins over Andrade and Miranda. not sure than the 2010 version of Kessler wins over the 2010 version of Andrade. But I agree, if Ward wins fairly over Dirrell, he will be the new number one. Ward has dominated Kessler but won fearly?... in my book, this headbutts was not accidentals...
What are you trying to say with that bs you come up with? Those guys fight the best so once has to lose in each fight while your boy is hiding himself somewhere under the secure bell centre where can get ko´d and still win a decision :rofl Also Bute is very beatable Andrade knockt him out and Golovkin ktfo´d him with a bodyshot in the amateurs after he outclassed him.. face it. there was never a reason for Kessler to rematch Andrade, he didnt need two fights to clear things up with that guy unlike Bute. Miranda couldnt beat Abraham even when his jaw was shattered. the only reason this fight should have been stopped were Mirandas repeated fouls but Abraham took it like a man and ktfo´d Miranda in the rematch when he was healthy.
Take in mind that im a S.O.G. superfan, but a realist too I fully agree w/ Brickhaus... to the point that in order for him to be definitely ABOVE Bute is winning the Super6, which i expect him to do without a loss. Im not saying that he's gonna steamroll everyone, there's gonna be close fights, the competition IS topnotch. Its only missing Lucian Bute. Remember, Andre Ward was JUST 20wins going into the Super6 tourney, though regarded as a Top Prospect, also regarded as an underdog vs the Europeans, who are established fighters - they've paid their dues and WERE champions. With a win over an "established" champion and a "top prospect", he's proven himself, and now champion. But with only 22wins, he's yet to establish himself. Lucian Bute seems fully established himself, though having only 26 wins, BUT 21 KO's. Everyone kind of forgets that. Having a high KO ratio relates to a sort of dominance. He has been the IBF champion SINCE 2007, and has had 6 title successful title defenses? So yeah, Lucian Bute seems more established if put that way.... Someone called Bute out as a lousy bum compared to the Super6 participants, lol? Well... there is kind of a common denominator among a few of them, a SuperMid champion-lvl Gatekeeper named EDISON MIRANDA. Here's his brief history vs the top elite... 2006 vs Authur Abraham(as Middleweights) Unanimous Decision Loss 2007 vs Allen Green(as Middleweights) Unanimous Decision Win 2007 vs Kelly Pavlik as Middleweights) 7rd TKO - just thru it in 2008 vs Authur Abraham 4th rd TKO 2009 vs Andre Ward Unanimous Decision Loss 2010 vs Lucian Bute 3rd rd TKO (monster shot to the body) not sure why a Gatekeeper got a titleshot, prob cuz the Super6 sucked up all the viable competition lol So take in mind, this "Bum" KO'd Miranda the fastest out of 3 of the Super6 participants that fought him, and one of them loss to him hahah - obviously NOT champion-level material

too friggin much to read up above.. a win over brinkley is not some bull****. Bute beats brinkley it's pretty sweet.. brink got revived after beating that cat called showtime that was suppose to be the favored and coming up... brink is tough...people know him. if it so happens to be bute's asigned fight...let him have it.. let him win in spectacular fashion and let the super 6 say....yeah...lucian bute when we get out of this hell hole. I wouldn't go buckwild trying to take risks either... let it happen. he should beat his mandatories...good fighters or not.... and continue to wait for at least the first drop out of the tournament. who can **** on bute's name if he fights everyone that did their thing....but lost....and then bam opportunity to fight someone waiting for the champ. this would sucure his name...to be ..the best of the supermiddle... one by one... no?
lol, nice pic! Im gonna go out of my way and say that in a general consensus, Lucian Bute was rated #1 SMW prior to the Super6 by many establishments.... Snake, READ FASTER! IT GOT GOO STUF IN DER!
