Agreed, i think if McCracken going to work with one boxer out of the squad as a pro, Campbell is probably the best one for him too.
I really hope its Robert Mccracken. Both Froch and Mccracken seem to have a great relationship with Luke and obviously they have worked together for a while in Sheffield, it seems a good fit.
Would say Frankie Gavin's is slightly better, 2 time ABA champion, EU Bronze and Gold at Lightweight and Light Welter, Commonwealth Games Gold and World Amateur champion and I think he brought a medal home from every tournament he fought in for England with the exception of the 2006 Europeans.
I think Gavin was a better slight more skilled amatuer, but you'd have to say that what Campbell achieved at amatuer level was superior IMO. His European Championship gold is a much more prestigious and harder to win competition than the EU one that Gavin won, and he has a bronze in the EU to match Gavin bronze, then you add a silver in the worlds with a gold at the Olympics it outdoes Gavin for me.
