How about when he beat Sylvia coming off of losing to Nog but winning in the fight. Sylvia had also beat Vera. He'd only loss to Couture and Nog. Prior to that he was fighting - guess who - Arlovski in a rivalry the UFC was promoting.
Overeem is a different fighter now. Dana doesn't recognise that. Dana would market Cro Cop cos he is in the UFC but Overeem was hurting him up. How about him beating Belfort twice. Yeah, don't expect the MMA press to grill Dana on this either. During the press conference today members of the media actually referred to Fedor as 'that guy' and described his fight with Werdum as 'what happened last weekend'. It was as if they were terrified Dana would shout and swear at them if they said his name. A new nadir for American journalism. :-(
What a hypocrite. Starts off saying that Fedor doesn't sell tickets or do good numbers then claims that Fedor v Lesnar would do better numbers than De La Hoya v Mayweather.
