Rampage won 2 rounds clearly, Machida one 1 round. I cant see any arguement for Rampage losing either of the first two. Did Machida win his round in more dominant fashion than either of the rounds Page won? Yes Was round 3 a 10-8 round for Machida? No According to the rules of the UFC rampage won. Machida won the event for sure but not the fight. I dont understand this at all. Its not a credible win to suggest page isnt shot or anything but it is a win for him. imo its machida who lost that fight rather than page winning it. He just didnt throw enough in the first 2.
:nono This is nonsense. They weren't "clear" Rampage rounds at all, could easily have went either way. The only definitive round was the 3rd, where Machida beat Rampage like a naughty ginger stepchild.

For sure. I think the 3rd round of the fight against page who for all his limitations has decent power would have done more for his confidence than koing an old man. Machida is as deserving as anyone & stylistically we get to see Jones face a test he has not faced yet, whats the problem :huh Evans has NO shot vs Jones, he is scared shitless of him, he does not believe he can beat Jones IMO, Machida is a more exciting (& better) fighter than Evans, I`m glad its Machida-Jones... Evans can fight Shogun, get his ass KTFO by the better fighter (like he did vs Machida) & give us fans a break from his boring arse. Shogun can then fight the Jones-Machida winner, at least thats the way I would have it.
