Tyson never beat any great fighter other than an old Larry Holmes would hadn't fought in 2 years.

To pick Tyson to beat the GOAT is the biggest stretch of reasoning imaginable.

This matchup has never been done before! :good

I'd say the country of Mali flattens poor Mike, even if they come at him one at a time.

Everyone always forgets just how quick prime Tyson was. He would be tough for anyone. Ali would have to be prime and not the 80% he liked to fight at to win.

How many Malians would Iron Mike lay out before he begins to gas?

Tyson would quit in his corner after 2 or 3 Rounds

If you look at the 1st round Tyson vs Biggs, that could give you an indication, and a 1960s MA could do that and better for most of the fight. Also he had the chin to survive some bad times.

Down by Banks. Down by Cooper. Down by Wepner . Down by Frazier. Down and out by a no name Texan during sparring. None of those guys were monster punchers.
He had a good chin, but not superior like everyone says. His talent was fluidness, being able to move and roll with punches , like Mayweather.
You're nuts to think he would make prime Tyson look stupid. Tyson had speed superior to anyone except Ali, but on par with him.

Mike didn't have the poise or mental strength to not allow Ali into his head... Ali by late TKO.

Ali. He would frustrate Tyson, get in his head, lean on him, and then knock him out mid rounds. I see this going similar to the Ali/Foreman fight or the Lewis/Tyson fight.

Actually youre right. I can admit i stand corrected. I found the fight and it was Tyson/Zouski and i rewatched it. :patsch Not sure why i recalled that fight so differently. Likely due to my drinking a few years ago.

Agree. Tyson Aggression can not go longer against Ali because of Ali strong physical & mental defense.
