If Silva got out of the first round I would be surprised. Even if he jumped to 205 Fedor clinches him, takes him down and submits him.

    christ!!

there are some silva fanboys in here, fedor would anihilate silva, silva would not be able to keep this fight at distance, fedor is way to canny against strikers i.e crocop and AA,once he had his hands on the wiry franklin destroyer he would snap him like a twig.

really dont get this p4p hyperbole/invincibility **** surrounding silva ,look what travis lutter did to him, yeah he beat franklin twice and an old dan henderson,a green marqhuardt etc but thats it!

of course silvas a great fighter but people need to deal with the fact that emelianenko(like him or not) is probably the greatest all round fighter the sport has seen..

i.e he beats the best of the best at their own game,jiu-jitsu guys like sobral and noguera, the strikers as above and inluding schilts and hunt, the wrestlers like randleman and coleman etc fact is he would f...ing murder anderson.

thats why he is in that uber-league very few athletes enter, but all aspire to, its a lonely place but a place of reverence and anderson is simply not in it,

I'd argue that anyone can knock fedor out...not just anderson.

But unfortunately....what truely matters is to find the perfect angle , timing ...in other words , the golden opportunity to take advantage of fedor's weaknesses.

That's an entirely different problem. It's not impossible. But way more problematic..

Dave is too well rounded, he's evolving all the time before our very eyes.

Yeah, Anderson is amazing at his weight, but to say he'd have a chance against Fedor is a massive stretch. He doesn't KO him standing him up and he'd get absolutely demolished on the ground, Fedor could do what he wanted pretty much just because of pure power.

I used to be a Fedor fan until I started reading all the Fedor is invincible bull**** people post on here. If Fedor can step in the octagon and go 3-0 I'll be surprised. Seriously. I'm not a hater, but get real. He's a great fighter, but any time someone mentions him losing everyone freaks the **** out on them.

Its because to these fools, stating that hes the greatest MMA fighter ever is not enough. Its really a mild form of ******ation.

Its never about the realities of fights anymore, its all pure fantasy. Fedor will take Silva down and its over, thats the mentality here, nothing else can possibly happen in a fight, forget that Anderson is one of the ATGs of the sport.

All I said was he has a chance and people said no, they are sure of it.

Wow really, The same Fedor who almost got subbed by Mark Hunt??

I don't even see Fedor taking down Anderson Silva.Fedor has mid level Takedown ability. He subs fighters off his back, some fighters he subbed from his back had no Grappling background.
