i don't think macklins team would fancy it at all, lee's team have already opted for martinez, their certainly not screaming to fight pirog, i think once barker gets back in action, his team will grab the fight and promote it in london, and take it for me pirog will fight anybody game enough anywhere, as challengers arn't exactly jumping over one another to get to him.:think:good
Barker and Macklin wouldn't stand a chance Lee would do better, probably wouldn't win though Pirog is a high-risk, low reward fight. Unfortunately for him I think he may end up being a very avoided fighter in his career - Nate Campbell syndrome
Martinez does not want to fight Pirog. I think Pirog is very very good. I don't think he is necessarily the best at 160 but he is probably in the top 5. I think Martinez is better. I think Sturm V Pirog would be very good as would Sylvester V Pirog. I also think Macklin/Barker/ Lee would have a good chance against him. Daniel Jacobs was ko'd and Pirog did very well in that fight. A counter puncher might be interesting to see if his style is still effective. Pirog has great angles though which you have to admire. I love his unique style. Am I mixing up the WBO and WBC or am I right in thinking Lemeiux could be Pirog's mandatory if he get's past Rubio? My money would be on Pirog to beat Lemeiux based on the fact that Lemeiux hasn't enough experience against true boxers of Pirog's calibre. It's not that I think Lemeiux isn't good its just that he seems to be a ko artist but not much else.
