    Them eyes were pretty shocking. Pirog at home in the UK is a good fight.

    Good fight for who ? Fans yes, macklin no. Pirogs awkward and tough and beats macklin emphatically imo. This **** that macklin comes out with after every fight that hes leagues ahead of this guy is disrespectful especially when hes pushed you so close to the wire. Few less miles on the clock and varon pulls it out imo. He needs duddy or lee in america(paddys day) to make his money then cash in on whatever champ he can get.

    i'm surprised macklin wants pirog. macklin would get dismantled and put down in less than 8. if he thought he was "leagues ahead" of varon and still thinks pirog would be an easy route to a title he's got another thing coming

    I heard about him having a bad cold before the fight. He should have pulled out.

    You shouldn't read into this fight just like you shouldn't read into Barkers opponents. Saying that he should stay well clear or Pirog.

    Really stupid thing to do if your on verge of a world title shot. He must of felt he'd get passed Varon a lot easier then what actually happened.

    His face was way worse then i expected it to be, i knew one eye was bad but both were a mess.

    It was also the first time that Macklins gone 12 rounds in his career and he wsasnt expecting to have to go that long against Varon so that might have something to do with his performance. Pirog-Macklin is a fight id like to see, even though Macklin would most likely be clearly beaten. Could be a good action fight for however long it lasts
