@NasalSpray can you find me one post on the forum where someone says Conor Benn is a good boxer or the next big thing? I’m struggling to think where on earth you’re getting he’s hyped from.
Buatsi is set up for a big fall due to the hype around him. Fighting old super middleweights isn't going to help him progress in a dangerous light heavyweight scene, especially at world level.
Where did I say anyone on this forum is hyping him? Matchroom hype train is fully behind him. He's headlining their next show on god nem This content is protected
lol, Great thread @NasalSpray this is one of those that needs pinning to the forum, so it can be constantly updated.
He’s headlining a next gen show. Your rationale is ridiculous. So you’re saying promoters shouldn’t actually promote their fighters?
Hearn should put Benn and Kelly in with a couple of very beatable also rans, build them up a bit more with the casuals whilst getting IFLTV to drum up some beef and then let them lose on each other to help pad out a PPV card next summer. Neither are going to be World Champions and that would be the best option to milk them before they are found out.
I never said that either. Why do you always try to put words in other peoples mouths MATCHROOM is his PROMOTER This thread is about keeping track of MATCHROOM fighters who get derailed. Hence, why he is included. Jesus you are dense
Poor matchmaking stemming from a need to replace retiring fighters capable of headlining shows such as Bellew. Also Hearn over matching fighters like Brook has left a huge gap for big names headlining free Saturday night shows.
I don't (or rarely) laugh when fighters lose, I do however laugh when Eddie's Hearn suffers and his 'empire' takes a big hit as it did on Saturday. All promoters are ultimately greedy and self serving but Eddie has taken it to another level with his disdain for the fans.
I dunno man I don't think he's any better or worse than the rest of them Frankie boy is putting fury Schwartz on ppv which shows he's no better
What about the Matchroom stars of Parker, Usyk, Gassiev, Hunter, Hrgovic , Hainey, Farmer, Hooker, Andrade, Jacobs and Roman. Rumours of Gary Russell Jr joining too.
