I haven't seen any weigh-in pics/vids, but according to fat Dan, Baldomir is in great shape.

 

what fights on the golden card likely to end via stoppage?

 

just got back from event.kicked off like crazy during enzo fight. birmingham city fans (mostly frankie gavins mates) kept shouting 'sheepshaggers' to the welsh crowd by them all night then eventually it all kicked off with at least 15 of them.pretty crazy, so crazy i missed the enzo ko as i was watching the fighting in the crowd nearby :-(

 

Ortiz should stop Harris.

Ponce De Leon-Escalante is a possibility, although its only 10 I think. Other fights will go the distance IMO

 

Ortiz/Harris will probably be over in 5.

I could see Ponce/Escalante going the distance myself. Stoppage is possible though.

Baldmoir/Alvarez will go the distance unless Baldomir is really **** and gets retired or something.

 

baldomir's chin is like a double decker bus, or at least was, so a canelo stoppage tonight would really make a statement. looking forward to that, although i think ponce de leon-escalante is a shoe in for fight of the night.

i've never been convinced by shane at 154, but it would break my heart to see him losing to a **** like mora in a stinker.

 

I've been drinking but I'm pretty sure the ref stopped it then Hughes took Jennings head in is hands, turned it so he could see the cut and then shook his head.

 

Dunno mate got off the phone to a mate of mine who was at the fight but forgot to ask him about the round. I can't get through to him now must be gettin pissed sorry mate.

 

Mora struggled to make the weight didn't he? I think Mosley will catch up with him late maybe even stopping him. Never rated Mora but it's a tough fight for Mosley.

Baldomir will tough it out i think losing a UD, Alvarez power doesn't seem to be top level yet can't see him putting Baldo away although he's been out for ages.

Escalante Vs PDL looks a good fight I'm going with Escalante to outbox De Leon.

 

PDL has improved from what I've seen lately. His pressure game is much better. He's slightly moved from crude all out brawler towards half respectable pressure fighter. He hasn't got so much power at this weight so he's had to.

 

yeah, they distracted me from the Enzo fight, I saw him go down but wasn't sure what was going on, I thought it was Frenkel at firstas Enzo had been winning to that point. After the fight it all kicked off again, the Welsh tried to rush the Birmingham guys and a wave of security guards were all over them, most of them got ejected. On my way out plenty of them were still hanging about the exit and alot of police were there to stop anymore trouble.

 

You paid bucks to watch a boxing fight live on TV and you opted to watch some dirty filthy orgy of a scuffle?

Soto is on tonight as well as Arce.

Arce's fight looks like it could be a cracking one.

Sotos' looks like one of them fights that Soto beats the **** out of the guy early and if it doesn't get stopped he goes into cruise control
