Jennings is not a power puncher but he can beat him on points. Ali wasnt a power puncher either. Since when do only power punchers fight each other?

All true. I was just trying to provide a reason why Jennings may not be thrilled about the idea of a Mago fight. (okay and i also really wanted to use the no ***** metaphor )

I thought Byarm fought well and nearly won the first round and when he was fighting well it was moving around the ring. When he was mobile, he seemed to outbox Abdusalamov rather easily. The disaster happend when Byarm went to the ropes or was trapped in a corner ( twice ). Once Byarm was on the ropes or in a corner Mago did bad things to him.

It can be argued that the 1st round was a 10-8 round in favor of Mago because a couple of times it looked like the turnbuckle and, right before the bell, the top rope kept Byarm from going down but the ref didn't rule those instances a knockdown.

If Mago needs rounds, perhaps a Friday Ahunanya would be a good guy to fight or maybe even perhaps...the one...the only...Kevin Johnson. The Safety Pin.
Johnson is most likely desperate now that he was raped in Prizefighter.
He might take a Mago fight.

Byarm's combos were good and getting to Mago and then all of a sudden, the guy gets trapped on the ropes and Mago smashes him.

"Magomed Abdusalamov – Russian knockout artist has stopped every opponent, modeling his style after his FAVORITE BOXER,GEORGE FOREMAN!"

Mago is a Foreman fan! Yeah!
is Mago the Russian George? Perhaps.

    :good

I thought the fight was being contested on even terms until Mago blitzkrieg'd his ass in the last 30 seconds or so. . . Byarm was turning him, circling, and landing some shots, but Mago was also stalking, and stalking and landing plenty of clean, power punches as well. . . It would have been justfiable to give either the round if the last 30 seconds went the way the first 2:30 of the fight went.

But I too, felt the first round could have been (and I did score it) 10-8 because Mago had Byarm pretty much out on his feet. . . There was some shots that were getting through his guard (it wasn't just the last punch of the round), and he was getting his head bounced all over the place, in BRUTAL fashion. . . If he wasn't on the ropes, he would have kissed canvas. . .

I mean, he basically did KO him in the first round. . . Lol, he had no business going bnack out for the second round.

Jennings would bamboozle Mago & box circles around him.

Mago has heavy hands but is slow & flat footed, his defence is almost non-existant.

Stick him in with another plodder like Pulev, that would be a fun fight

I wouldn't call Pulev a plotter. He's suprisingly light on his feet and much of his offense revolves around his ability to close distance rather quickly. It was more evident in his last fight against Dimitrenko where he was at a height/reach disadvantage compared to some of his previous ones.

I favour Jennings to outbox Mago & win a wide decision.
