:thumbsup All I know is I feel terrible about his situation and for his family. I watched that fight, and know we witnessed the end of that man's life essentially. So tragic it kills me inside. I thought that fight should have been stopped, but they kept throwing him out there. :-(
I do think they may have a case for negligence, but nobody will take them serious throwing numbers like that out there.... They'll be lucky for a few hundreds gs, maybe a few million in an out of court settlement... Hope Mago gets better though, thats all that really matters. He seems to be making progress which is good, responding to basic commands etc.
Nobody ever sticks to the initial figure. These things are treated more like business negotiations than anything, which is a bit morbid considering what's driving the "deal".

No need to lie to bash K-2. The didn't promote "that show" they just promote Abdusalamov's opponent Perez. Magomed's promoter was Sampson Promotions.
And the shows promoters don't matter anyway. They simply ensure the fight is adequately promoted to establish the fighters future. It is the commissions responsibility to ensure the fighters safety and aftercare are adequate. And the NYSAC failed miserably here.....sending a guy home after a hellacious beating in which he suffered serious visible injuries in their ring.:-(
No Sir. K2 promoted that show as is usaully the case its one promotion, they get other fighters on as well, pay them , insure them for medicals and supposed to take care of them. Otherwise its a co promotion. That show was not a co promotion. When a non GBP fighter called Levander Johnson died on their show aginst their fighter, Oscar handed over a million bucks to the family because its the right thing to do. Klitschkos are the opposite- fight on their show and you might not even get paid ala Shanon Briggs. Or in the case of Povetkin , he said they had in a contract that they would not pay medicals, that is unheard of and very wrong !!!!!!
the shannon briggs - klitschko fight is indefensible. briggs' purse was offensive. the fact that the fight itself was allowed to go all 12 rounds was horrific.
