Maidana V Moralles My Scorecard.

    After all the talk of the 'ROBBERY' that occured in the early hours of Sunday morning (GMT), I thought I'd go back and score what was, as we all know a class fight.


    Round 1 Maidana 10-9 Morales (10-9.)
    Round 2 Maidana 10-9 Morales (20-18.)
    Round 3 Maidana 9-10 Morales (29-28.)
    Round 4 Maidana 9-10 Morales (38-38.)
    Round 5 Maidana 9-10 Morales (47-48.)
    Round 6 Maidana 10-10 Morales (57-58.)
    Round 7 Maidana 9-10 Morales (66-68.)
    Round 8 Maidana 9-10 Morales (75-78.)
    Round 9 Maidana 10-9 Morales (85-87.)
    Round 10 Maidana 9-10 Morales (94-97.)
    Round 11 Maidana 10-9 Morales (104-106.)
    Round 12 Maidana 10-9 Morales (114-115.)

    So I gave it Moralles by a single point, but I can understand why others may give it narrowly to Maidana. So although the decision was not a complete robbery, the 116-112 scorecards were ridicolous. How did you guys have it?

    What I found amazing was that Rafeal scored it a draw by giving MORALES the last 2 rounds. ..

    I scored it.......a ****ing great fight. Ok I haven't scored it yet but when I finished watching the russian copy I had access to, I didn't know who was going to get their hand raised. Massive props to Morales who proved the doubters wrong.

    Is it that Maidana is not as good as the hype that follows him? Maybe the win over Ortiz is the reason people rate him so high, but maybe Maidana just has that style that Ortiz will never handle, and its not that Maidana is that good its just that he's Ortiz's bogey man.

    I guess only time will tell but props to both fighters for a thoroughly entertaining war, take note sky as the whole card was an amazing show.

    rafael also score the first 4 to maidana. he knows **** all.

    i had it 115-113 Maidana.

    Why do you consider the scores ridiculous if yours would be the same distance apart if you gave the drawn one and one Morales round to Maidana? Seemed like there were a lot of close rounds, although I didn't score it on first watch. I believe the 'Budd Schulberg factor' was involved; people probably gave Morales rounds because he did more than they expected him to do.

    Agreed. How anyone could score round 11 for Morales is staggering.

    I thats true I will never take anything that **** says serious, not that i ever did. A blind man could see that Maidana won the last 2 rounds clearly.

    Morales EVT12 Maidana is all you need to know.

    Just when I think I couldn't love Eric anymore (no homo) he makes me think again.

    Without the swollen eye we could have had a Duran-Barkley type result.
