Great fight. Leaning towards Paulie UD but it is not gonna be one sided. Either way, Come Feb. we are in for a treat I think!
Paulie has moved up so this fight should be at 147. Too bad Paulie doesn't have fists. He has rolls of Chamin attached at the wrist that he stuffs into gloves. When he hits Maidana, Marcos will feel like someone is just throwing popcorn at him.
I think it's a winnable fight for Paulie, he takes a good shot and the footwork of Maidana is terrible. If he fights smart and boxes at distance behind the jab, he can get the UD.

If Khan couldn't thoroughly school Maidana, then Malignaggi sure as hell won't. In fact, it might end up being the first time he gets KO'd outright.
This is true- look at the mid rounds of the cotto fight- after his first cut after his first KD he still handily won rounds against arguably a bigger puncher with more boxing talent. If paulie shows up with his Masters degree of the sweet science, he could really become a name in this fight losses be damned!

Paulie is a better boxer than Maidana. I'd put my money on Paulie, he's tough and is as slick as they come.
True! Paulie may not be able to punch his way through wet toilet paper, but his heart and toughness shouldn't be questioned.
Love the fight! Even though Paulie doesn't have the power to KO Marcos he has the style to cause him a **** load of problems and pull off a potential upset....If Paulie is on his absolute A game.
Paulies jab doesn't have the authority to demand respect from maidana. He will walk right through Paulie who is overated in terms of boxing ability. Paulies a nice guy and has very goodchin and heart, but maidana will beat him down. Hope I'm wrong but can't see Paulie doing much in this fight even though maidana has few skills he won't respect anything Paulie fires at him.
