If Rios moves up he has to pick his fights very carefully. I could see someone like Kotelnik countering him to bits. Actually I think Kotelnik would be a horrible style match-up for Rios, considering Kotelnik's outrageously good chin.
if rios goes to the body early and weakens maidana's power then i'll go with Rios TKO-8/9 if he doesn't Rios UD
nah man, did you see round 4? Rios was like "Damn, this is harder than i thought". Rios is a man, dont get me wrong, but Maidana has been in there tougher than that and not once does he let the pressure off.
i saw round 4, acosta hit him with some killer power punches but rios recovered somehow within the onslaught, i scored that round 10 - 8 to acosta, for maidana isn't a great boxer, Acosta has much more skill then him and Rios overcame that with his sheer aggression and chin maidana won't be able to handle rios if he gets taken to the body
naa. maidana is too big and too strong for rios, its one thing to take many flush shots from an elite LW. its another to take one from maidana, i.e. the hardest hitting fighter in the JWW division.
