Expect Bradley to go down. Maidana isn't just a brawler. He's smart and surprisingly accurate when he wants to be.

The question is how Bradley reacts after a Maidana bomb. Will he physically and mentally be able to fight a cautious focused fight with the knowledge that his opponent could take him out after any mistake and at any time.

Best fight to be made at 140 bar none IMO.:bbb

I agree both that Bradley has a better punch than being credited and Maidana has some tools are being overlooked. Also, Maidana is capable of throwing 1200 punches, and a big puncher with a huge output is a nightmare even for a much better fighter such as Bradley. Which is why it is a superb fight.

Mark it down. He is several classes above Maidana.

bradley is a solid fighter. However, he suffers from defensive flaws. Holt exposed those despite kendell's lackadaisical performance. I have a funny feeling this fight is going to be a barn burner, and it is actually foolish to choose one over the other on this one. 50/50 all the way. maidana suffers from defensive flaws as well. go watch the bradley/peterson fight again. near the end peterson was having some success by taking it inside. there is no way in hell maidana will not fight this way from 1 - 12.

If i had to bet i would go with madiana btw.

Bradley is a much better boxer than Maidana no doubt. But this will show us just how dangerous a guy who doesnt stop throwing punches with power against a much better boxer that can be put on his trunks.

As I've already said, This is a case of pure will (and power) vs skill. (although Bradley has already shown he has alot of will as well)

I think Alexander would have an easier time with Maidana than Bradley would, but I'd still expect Bradley to win. Maidana/Bradley would be a FOTY candidate in my book.

Imo Alexander can beat both Maidana (would be a good fight though) and Bradley.

Alexanders got good boxing ability like Bradley but with ALOT more power.

Where do people come up with stuff like this? :patsch How come youy didn't come up with if Ortiz and Cayo could outbox Maidana then Bradley can as well? The truth is Maidana is tailormade for Bradley. Slow hands, come forward with plodding footwork and easy to hit. Maidana will be one of his easiest fights in recent memory.

The question is how Maidana reacts to getting hit with clean counters beat to the punch and getting circles boxed around him all night long? Will he then press more and become more reckless only to get KOed? Or will he go into full survival mode?

Holt is much quicker than Maidana, is more fluid, more technically skilled and hits just about as hard. He just doesn't have the chin and the pressuring mindset. I don't think Maidana has the tools to threaten Bradley, but there will be tension for the whole fight as he would never stop coming forward looking for big shots.

Peterson is a better fighter than Maidana, so you can't really say that Maidana would be able to have success because Peterson had some success doing certain things. And really, Peterson wasn't able to do a whole lot with Bradley.

Holt is a totally different type of fighter who would always give a guy like Bradley problems. Holt looks to counter and load up on his power shots. Maidana is a wide open come foward slugger who wants to bang. He will find out against Tim that he will need more technical ability when his opponents won't quit like Ortiz or can't stand up to his attack like Kayo. He will be outboxed and lose by UD.
