Maidana is very easy to read, Khan would just have to stick to a simple game plan to win vs Maidana who's defence is poor and his chin not the best also. Khan could even stop him.

BTW saw Haye last night in central London, asked him what round he was going to KO Ruiz in he said He is tough so he dont know, top man.

Yep, the scoring by Lederman for that fight was a bit off I must say.

IMO Maidana would land on khan at some point and put him to sleep.

Kotelnik and khan are comltely diffenrent fighters and kotelnik has a far better chin than khan.

I like this fight, I really do.

A lot more of an exciting prospect than Khan-Paulie.

If it goes the full 12 there is little doubt that Khan would win, but can he last the full 12. Dunno:huh

Overall I would favour Khan, a lot more strings in his bow than Maidana and ever improving, but can't discount the danger factor that Maidana offers with his big punch. Intriguing match-up.

Paulie-Khan is a more interesting fight IMHO.

    You're such a purist Gaz.:verysad

I bet when you want to watch an old fight you reach over the Gatti-Ward DVD and grasp the one labelled Hopkins-Allen III.

    Thats Greg FitzPatterson not me.

I like good tear up but I think Paulie is the more interesting fight for Khan.:p;)

    That is what Greg does.

Maidana should be built up to be a TV fighter, put him in with guys that will make great fights.

    How about Maidana-Ricardo Torres :hey
    FOTY candidate for sure.

Some of the reasoning in this thread is sloppier than Maidana.

I only said it was labelled Hopkins-Allen III.:smooch

I'm pretty sure you'd left the "Corrales-Castillo I" disk inside the actual DVD sleeve.

As I'm steaming I'll say what I think; Khan is ****ing shite. Amazing handspeed, improving tactical nuance, but that chin will let him down big time.

Maidana K.O 2 Khan; how many top fighters have had genuinely shocking chins?
