No offence but looking at them prices ye kinda get ripped off paying for boxing in Australia. Pacquiao-Mosley is on sky sports in the uk and ireland which most of us are subscribed to anyway. 15 quid a month, football, rugby, tennis, golf, most sports, boxing every saturday night. Geale-Sylvester is on premier sports over here. Again its a subscription channel. 7 quid a month but they show a lot of boxing.

i sent an email to mainevent to see if they can do any discount for people that order both ppv's...as i think they would do more business this way.

I am currently awaiting there reply.

I remember once i got Briggs v Adamek ppv and a Darchinyan ppv and it cost like $50 and they showed them back to back.

It was the day of Bathurst and i set up 2 TV's side by side so I could watch both.

Spot on. Both the fights mentioned should NOT be PPV. Fans in Australia get ****ed up the arse continually, that is if they are dumb enough to pay for these fights. Both fights should just be shown on Fox Sports which the viewer has already paid for. Sports such as English premier league/La Liga football, Masters Series Tennis, Pga golf etc etc are shown on subscription TV without asking the viewer to cough up more money yet boxing fans are continually asked ridiculous amounts for substandard fights.

A real Aussie contender fighting o/s against a live opponent of big rep for the top recognized belt at $29 on ppv..........is it worth comparing to what is shown o/s and bleating about?

    Me thinks not.

Imo a total rip off. It is not elite level boxing at all. As the other poster from overseas stated they get Pacman-Mosely on Sky Sports at no extra charge and in USA it's free to air tv on CBS i believe.
The only boxing that should be considered for PPV is elte level fighters fighting each other (P4P top 20 fighters facing off).

I daresay advertising dollars play a part in this due to the population base in US and UK??

Unfortunately true, just take this online shopping fiasco..... You can get clothes from the states online at a fraction of the cost to here... about ****ing time as well... Remember that grub Gerry Harvey blowing up about it.

Unfortunately PayTV is a monopoly over here and we are screwed as a result...... Thank **** for illegal sites that stream the fights. :finger5:finger5

well when u have idiots paying $50 to watch mundine beat up an argie female cabbie, they r going to keep flogging off average fights assuming people will pay as although a rip off, it seems good value compared to anthony's crap.
