i think at world level khan will be found out atleast if he beats a domestic fighters like murray he'd have some praise from the haters (such as yourself)
Who are the good british fighters he's proved himself against. no disrespect to his opponents but for all the hype that surrounds him he has fought at a very low level so far. His best opponent by far was St Clair but lets face it, he never really fought back as he was obviously only there for the payday.
Really don't see why expressing justified criticism of a fighter in a reasonable manner warrants being labelled a hater. I'm also prepared to give Khan credit where it is due. Have to say I do find it odd considering it was you and NOT me that voted they wanted to see Khan get KTFO badly recently!
Who do ppl think the Board will throw up as Murray's 1st challenger? I know Gethin was put forward to fight Fewkes for the English belt. But Gethin just won that hard fight with Siddique. Gethin would be in over his head, vs Murray. Limond (beat Martin Watson)? Lawton (beat Al Hamidi)? Khan, really, should be looking to fight Murray. There's no way he can win a world title yet (Campbell-Guzman/Funeka, Pac-Soto, Casamayor-Soto), he wouldn't fight Romanov for the Euro title. Doesn't look good if he's targeting super feathers like Arthur.
I don't think Khan can make 130. I think he's destined for 140 soon-ish. He looks like a real weight drainer, going down from small punches; looking massive and powerful early; fading, having flat periods after a fast start. Maybe Arthur, if he's beaten Cook, will move up and fight Khan for a payday. To make Khan look good, and to get a payday, even if it's at lightweight. Khan won't be able to win the title, but he can say he's beaten a "world champion." The advertising will stress Arthur as WBO champ, and a lot of ppl will probably think they're watching a world title fight. Khan has to mark time, IMO, and will probably to to trick the public he's in world class fights! Does Khan have some kind of W_ _ Interwhatsit belt, maybe that will do as well.
Yeah he chose to fight for the interalphabetty title instead of fighting Thaxton for a real title. Imagine if he doesn't win a world title - he won't have made any imprint on the sport whatsoever - because the Commonwealth title is now meaningless as well.
Don't think so - I would be very surprised if any SN fighter boxes for a non-WBO title in the near future. If this happened, the winner would be near certain to have to face a decent mando pretty quickly, and get sparked.
