He'd probably say what all level headed people are saying. "Pacquiao will take the test because a loss to Mayweather still earns him his last paycheck for 20-50MIL". Then he can walk away from the sport he so elequently robbed with his cheating...

I don't think you can fight for the Euro title without your last three fights being in Europe.. something like that anyway.

His "iron chin" will be average at 147lbs, that mixed with his featherweight punching power spells disaster. IMO

He's having some tune-up's in Italy first, possibly one for the Italian Welterweight title

I think this is a bad move. Guys hit harder as you go up the weights.

I've no idea what financial state Malignaggi is in but he should retire from boxing and go into Commentating - the guy is an entertainer and talks well.

He's done alright for himself, not rolling in it like Mayweather but not many fighters are. He said he doesn't even expect to make $75,000 in his next fights, for someone who earned $1.2 million against Hatton, that's a big comedown

i think your right. the higher weight you move up the more power you need in most cases, which he hasn't got :good

I ****ing hate twitter. I just don't get how it responds, and selfishly, I've never received one tweet back, I don't even know if I'm doing it right. I sent two DM's to Malignaggi and he got back to me, but I can't send them to anyone anymore, don't know what the **** is up.

147's just a silly move as well, it won't work out well, though I pray to the heavens a match between Witter and Malignaggi is signed, and it's held somewhere accessible. I will buy those tickets instantly, a real dream fight for me. I absolutely love both their styles, they may not be the most exciting, may not hit the hardest or the most popular, it might be a real borefest but I'd love to watch that.

I think he'll do fine at 147. He's not going up there to fight world beaters, he's being realistic. He wants to fight for the European titles which is fine if he wants to continue his career. He'll beat the M.Hattons and Brancos of the world all day.

At 147lbs, decent level fighters would constantly walk right through his punches in order to rough him up and then knock him out.
