    Lennox clearly punches harder.
"The Lion" proved his power against vastly superior opposition. :deal

A heavy hitter has plenty of early kos (before round 6) on his record.
I'll use from their respective first title fights as a marker. Since Byrd in 2000 (WBO title) Wlad has had 23 fights, 21 of which are wins with 5 kos/tkos inside 6 rounds.
So let's look at Lewis. From Ruddock in 92 (Lewis awarded the WBC title after this fight so it's as good as) to retirement Lewis had 23 fights also with 2 defeats with 8 kos/tkos (not including McCall of course).
I'd also add how many Grant, Ruddock, Golota, Rahman moments has Wlad had???

I can't believe how close this poll is, it's a joke.

Wlad has better sustained power, he carries it better for the full 12, but pure one punch power goes to Lewis.

Lewis , but Im not quite sure whether it is the speed or power, as Lennox was 10 times faster with hand and foot than either Klitschko.

It's rather obvious watching them fight that Wlad hits harder. You can't just go by what some people say. Phil Jackson who fought them both says Wlad hits way harder. McCline who was a long time sparring partner with Lewis and who fought Wlad said that Wlad hits much harder with both hands than Lewis. Ray Mercer said in the ring after Wlad brutalized him that Lewis hit harder. Then in an interview about a month later he said that Wlad hit him harder than anyone has ever hit him.... and that Wlad was the first to ever really hurt him in a boxing match.

    Did you just say that?:rofl

Lennox is 10 times faster than Wlad? That's hilarious. Not only does Wlad CLEARLY have better footwork than Lewis... Lewis even points out Wlad's great footwork when he fights... but Wlad DEFINITELY has faster hands than Lewis.

Stay off those drugs sweetie popps , they will make you look stupid on here.

To say that Wlad has better footwork than Lewis is beyond ridiculous, and the speed difference isnt even close.

When you really understand boxing come back and say hello.

    Bye bye now ,

    Merry Christmas.

Whether it is earlier or later makes absolutely no difference. All of that depends on what type fighter you are, what type of fighter you are fighting against... and what your gameplan is in that fight. You started your "scale" from a point where we all know Wlad has changed his style to a much more measured pace than he did in his earlier career... where he had a TON of moments like Grant, Ruddock, Golota, Rahman... and he still has. Have you seen Brock, Austin, Byrd II, Jefferson, Thompson, ect? Let alone the lesser fighters that he absolutely blitzed earlier in his career. I mean... if you are going to consider Grant, who has the worst punch resistence of any supposed top heavyweight in recent memory, Golota... who has been caved in very early by more than just Lewis, ect... then we should definitely be able to mention those that Wlad did it against.

Wlad has clear HEAVY one punch knockout power in both hands. The only fight that you mentioned that was even close to being a one punch knockout was against Rahman... which was actually a two punch combo. It was a great one though.

    What Manny said:

"The jab of Wladimir is considerably more powerful, it is simply shocking, and penetrates the opponent from head to toe. Ali is similar but when he tries to come in forward in a straight line he loses some of his balance and coordination. In a number of technical aspects, Klitschko is significantly superior. In terms of a jab, for me he's the best. After him, in that element, I would put Larry Holmes, and then Lewis"

"Lewis was a more versatile fighter, he could completely restructure the course of a fight. But in terms of boxing arsenal - Wladimir [is better]. But he is still very young, and I think he still has a chance in a couple of years to become one the best in boxing history."

    When was this statement ?

Also it is easier said than done , Ali , Holmes and Lewis had Frazier , Tyson and Holyfield coming at them with great head movement.

Its a bit easier to look good with the jab against Chambers , Brock and Peter.

what about byrd, that was some great movement, in there first fight, it was very hard to tag, but he each time his jab connected, byrd HEAD flew back, an this is a man with a strong chin.
Wlad only used his LEFT against austin.
Alot of fighters fight for there fans, an german fans love the jab, they love the latter round fights, that is what i am sure is a key factor in wlad not throwing the KO punches early,

Let's hear what Phil Jackson who fought them both has to say... When asked about Wlad's power....

Malinowski: More powerful than Lennox Lewis would you say?

Phil Jackson: "Yeah, most definitely. Yeah."

    Malinowski: "What hand? Right hand?

Phil Jackson: "Both. Both. Put it this way...if it would have been him in there when his brother fought Lennox Lewis, I think he would have dropped Lennox Lewis. I honestly do. I think he would have dropped Lennox Lewis - if he would have been in the best of shape."
