Hatton would beat him because when Paulie gets hurt he starts holding and would be bullied to the ropes.
He IS good enough to win at higher level even though he didn't. A case can easily be made for Ngoudjo winning both those fights more convincingly than Hatton beat Collazo.
everytime this topic is raised people say the same thing. cotto could not stop paulie. so what! another fight another day. nine times out of ten cotto would of stopped paulie. paulie was never in the fight. and it will be the same with hatton
Malignaggi looks like he should be fighting at lightweight to me, where his punches might get the respect of his opponent Hatton would pummel him, I don't care if he survived a weight drained Cotto. This Ngoudjo bloke had him on ***** street, he wouldn't survive the sustained beating Hatton would dish out
Depends on how Hatton comes back from defeat. He could be a changed fighter with far less confidence. Also I think people are being a bit hasty in writing Malignaggi off. Surely most fighters have the odd lousy performance?
Yeah that maybe so. But to the bloke who says hatton cannot make 140 anymore. That is bollocks because it is access fat and when he does a bit of light training it comes off. the only reason hatton took on mayweather at 147, was because he has the chance to fight the best in the world and make a lot of money. Oh if PM wants to step up and face cotto at 147 he will get a bigger beating than he suffered at 140.
I cant believe he is taking the fight. Hatton much too stong for Mallignaggi. This fight will end in brutal fashion It will be short and decisive. Even his judges wont save him from this one. Honestly --- I doubt if Malignaggi would be able to provide decent sparring for Ricky Hatton. Now --- will this fight bring in the pay-per-views??? Doubt it.
