this is what i said about Booth yesterday

Jason Booth - WBO No.1, WBC No.11 (at Super Bantamweight)

Despite his last 4 fights being at the higher weight, Booth finds himself ranked number 1 by the WBO at Bantamweight. The Nottingham man has an up and down career, much like his personal life, but has turned it around in recent year picking up domestic titles at 4 weights.

Booth could get a surprise World title fight at either weight. Fernando Montiel (WBO) is due to challenge the division’s number 1 fighters Hozumi Hasegawa (WBC). The WBO has set up an interim title fight between Eric Morel and Jorge Arce, and with Booth ranked at number 1; he could be in line for a shot at the winner. It might be a smart move from Booths promoter Frank Maloney to get him back down to Bantamweight, perhaps in a bout with EBU/British/Commonwealth Champion Jamie McDonnell, to keep the pressure on the WBO. However it’s more likely Booth picks up the vacant title at Super Bantamweight, and pushed for a domestic showdown with Rendall Munroe.

    Chances of a Title fight in 2010 - 15%
    Chances of winning - 15%

may have to add the percentages.

If Maloney can get Booth a shot at a world title then that is fantastic news.

It's against Steve Molitor according to today's Boxing News and will be in England.

Molitor will be a decent fight to make for Booth, not quite sure he's the same after being chinned by Caballero.

Good little interview from Maloney, after all the stick I've given him :nut - speaks the truth!

Booth is the man. He can win a title. The guy is a good solid boxer, in fact he might be able to beat Moliter, aslong as he gets his title shot at Bantam I am happy.

Very tough opponent and Molitor is a decent traveller, so the fight being in England won't affect him.

I just think that Molitor will have too much of a physical advantage in this match-up...best of luck to Booth though

Me too find. I just can not understand why he is fighting at the high level at this weight when it seems he can certainly make at least the weight below and probably the oine below that with relative ease. Best of luck to the guy but he is certainly doing it the very hard way.
