    Canelo called out Cotto by saying "I have never known of a Rican ducking a mexican especially me that I beat he's brother ":-(

    He never wanted any of Canelo. Canelo destroys Cotto any day of the week. Cotto is not stupid, he knows that. Too much of a risk for not enough reward. Smart duck by Cotto honestly.

    But how is Cotto ducking Canelo when it was Canelo that backed out of negotiations. Cotto wanted to wait for the results of Pac vs Mayweather....

    Yeah the decision on whether Floyd Pac is going down needs to be made, that fight is throwing everything off kilter. No one seems to know what they can do or should do because of it. DLH Canelo trying to force issues when they don't know what's going with that fight doesn't make sense, it's not like they will actually have their fight on May 2nd if Floyd Pac is going down then. Maybe they are just trying to put Cotto in a tougher spot to make him easier to negotiate with is all I can think of. Other than that, everything is dependent on whether Floyd Pac is going down, no matter what anyone says, no final be decisions will be made until that is known.

    Exactly, why not just agree to fight Canelo and then all they have to do is wait out the Floyd-Pac negotiations to figure out a date (May 2nd or June 13).

    Also, I can't help but think that Cotto could make just as much vs Canelo than he could against Floyd because Floyd always keeps the lion's share of the purse, Canelo and Cotto would do a 50/50 split and do just as many of not more PPV buys.

    I don't know man, it appears to me that Cotto overplayed his hand. Who does he have left to fight now? Andy Lee? Always a good chance Cotto gets KO'd fighting any legit 160 pounder.

    What's wrong with just working out the purse split and agreeing in principle to fight. Once Pac-Floyd gets done (or not) they can pick a date and venue. Cotto has played hard to get, only problem is Canelo is on equal footing with Cotto in terms of money making ability. Cotto ****ed this all up to be honest.

    I'm pretty sure that's already happened if I'm not mistaken. I think it's been said that everything's been worked and all they have to do is sign contracts. I think Cotto is just not signing because he doesn't want to leave it in Canelo's and DLH hands to straight go kamikaze with Floyd Pac if they feel like it.

    To hell with Canelo everyone has figured out by now they will get robbed fighting this guy. Trout was suspect, Lara straight robbery, cotto has seen this guys politics at work. Tell drainelo to steal from the naïve and gullible. Cotto prefers a bigger payday for his robbery
