You dont beat the men JC has without good technique.

Put to bed?? try Lacy , he was put to bed , tucked up and given hot choco, the next morning he was still being taken to the clinic.

The most impressive thing about JC and your points confirms this ( I know you didnt intend to) , is that fighters have to adjust to him and not the other way around , possibly the only fighter to make JC adjust through the fight was Kessler.

Regardless if you like the man or not , you cannot argue with his results.

We can all rip into Jones and Hopkins if we want to.

    1. Hopkins - 3 fights with Robert Allen???
    2. Jones - no Mclellen , Benn or Nunn on his record???

We can always make greats look less than they are if we want , but I dont.

I believe Joe C., was a product of good match making and at the time you could do that with the WBO title. I though B-hop beat him as well as Robin Reid. Also, I thought the Siko Bika could have went either way and I scored it a draw. Also, The Byron Mitchell fight was stopped way to soon.

Good fighter that still has too many question marks over his career...His style of fighting and his technique is a turn off for me!

I despised Calzaghe's style. One of the least gracefull, messy, ugly, fighters i have ever seen. Effective but i would never pay to watch one of his fights.

Thats why he retired without going into, Dawson, Pavlik, Hopkins II, and Froch.

And fighters like Dirrell, Ward, Pascal, and other SMW were lurking around his weight class.

Lacy was still standing after 12 rounds wide awake. Go to sleep then wake up and then you will know what I was trying to imply, which was knocked out cold, put to bed, dont know whats happening in his surroundings.

Robin Reid didnt need to adjust to him, Hopkins didnt. Which versatile fighter did Calzaghe step in the ring with in the first place for us to even discuss this point? Calzaghe's record lacks the names and achievement for us to even discuss this. But even with the names, you proven that a Blevel kessler was able to push his **** back.

We can all rip into Jones and Hopkins if we want to.

I dont know what this got to do with the topic but:-

First Allen fight was a mandatory which was declared a no contest hence why there was a rematch. The third one was also a mandatory. Also Allen was ranked in the top 10 on all three occasions and BHop had cleared up just about everyone else.

Mario Veit has never been in the top 10 in his life but still Calzaghe fought him twice.

Even without those names on his reocrd his resume shits over Calzaghe's/

Calzaghe is over rated by his fans, and under rated by his haters. But his haters make more sense than his fans.

When you put someone to bed, they are knocked out cold then wake up later on.

Who did Calzaghe Knock out cold?

The only person Calzaghe put to bed is his son.

This is how you put someone to bed:-

He was level ahead of Sven Ottke and Dariusz Michalczewski though.

There's actually people out there especially welsh people that worship calzaghe it's hilarious.
He was a good fighter but not an elite let alone an ATG.

I'm glad CalSlappy is gone. No more hearing ATG from his supporters every time he beat a non- top 10 or over 40 fighter.

I will say he had the best technique of any after school, junior high girl fighter ever. If only the gloves didn't eliminate the hair-pull, he would have been a machine.
