Very satisfying to have witnessed Bernard getting punched out of the ring and being retired. Great symbolism.

Him lying and saying his 'ankle' was hurt was cringeworthy. Just like the Dawson fight trying to fake an injury and quit. Too bad he was beat in a legit manner and it didn't matter even if his ankle was hurt. Hopkins was too stupid to realize it.

Nah, I just rebuke him for not facing Toney for over 20 years. Plus all of that grinning he does behind De La Hoya makes him look like an old slave.

Agree. Extremely satisfying to watch, I can't stop laughing.

Haven't laughed as hard since Hopkins stuck his tongue out at Kova in the 12th and got the absolute **** beaten out of him.

What was he saying when they sat him down, I couldn't quite catch it. I sounded like Manny Pacquiao is not on the juice and I was only kidding.

First he said Smith was "getting tired in there" then he said he was "pushed" then he said his ankle was "hurt" when he tried to walk. Keep in mind he didn't make the ankle comment until they were telling him to get back in the ring. It was cringeworthy. Total delusion with some acting thrown in. Pitiful in a way.

Hopkins is a legend. I wish fighters had the nerve to show the guts he has demonstrated throughout his career. I understand his personality rubs people the wrong way so I won't defend that but hats off to a great career and just glad Smith didn't seriously hurt the guy. That was some finish

He was a great champ but delusional and always the sore loser. The Executioner was long gone but the Alien died tonight. I won't miss him.

Poetic justice that Bernards career ends this way. Getting KTFO of the ring with clean punches and him claiming he got pushed out. I think that puts his quit jobs in fights he claims he was fouled in real magnified perspective.

Even sadder was Max Kellerman letting Bernard Hopkins ramble on with all of his excuses when its on tape that Hopkins got sent out of the ring by clean punches. Even the announcers wanted what Hopkins was rambling about to be true but it was clear as day that it was'nt.

Poetic justice rained on Bernard Hopkins tonight. He was Exectuted!

His team shouldn't have let him conduct an interview until Hopkins himself saw the replay of him legitimately getting knocked out.

This I agree with. Max is a shill and didn't want to do a real journalistic interview. Larry Merchant would of called Hopkins out for that nonsense. Not homer Max.
