Manny Agrees to 14 Day cut off!!!!

Why 14 days? Because thats about how long it takes to cut weight to make 147. Anyone who has ever been in a cutting cycle knows it takes about 2 weeks to cut 10lbs. What if Manny cannot cut weight without taking A-Meth?


I don't really believe there is a such thing as A-Meth and I think Manny is drug free but I can understand why a fighter would need to use drugs to make weight.

We are talking about 4 million buys, each fighter could make around $100 million, it would take a complete idiot to turn that down. Win or lose you can retire and not really care. It's enough money that the drug issues are a side show, and what if they fight multiple times? It might be more profitable for Mayweather to lose and have a rematch because then he could make even more money.

yup found it. In an article at the scene of boxing. Floyd told the associated Press on Valentine's day this year that he'd have to take a smaller cut and agree to random testing all the way with no cut off. Seeing as how it was on valentine's day,maybe he was speaking out of anger and hurt for the rejection.

It's annoying that it was unacceptable the first time and everyone agrees saying that 14 days leaves time to cycle off.Now that Manny says okay,everyone is willing to settle. Not one person will say,"nah **** that Floyd should make Manny test all the way.**** this fight." If you do,I don't think you can say it with a straight face.or without being a troll. This fight is too important to the fans that they'll magically forget how much they were on Floyd's side with no cut off.

Things have changed since the last negotiations. The Floyd and Shane fight set a precedent for testing in big fights or just Floyd fights.

It's hard for Floyd to do no cut off for 1 guy and a 2 week one for the other. I really hope he agrees but let's be honest he's in a hole. In hindsight Floyd should have used a cut off for Shane. But I guess he can use the ol' "Shane was on roids before" excuse
