Funny you should mention this. Leonard changed his style cause he wanted to prove a point that he could go toe to toe with Duran. I feel Mayweather is changing his style cause he might feel his more laid back defensive style may not work with Pacquiao's quickness and angles. He's going to come in bigger of course, but I don't know how his new training at this point in his career will translate into the fight

I think being too light against Floyd would not put him in the best ideal position. As fast as he is, Floyd will start to get his timing down, so if he doesn't have any real power behind his speed and Mayweather starts clinching and using his weight effectively, Manny might get stopped.

Sounds about right........He's looking to be lean and mean in there with Floyd.....His focus will be speed, explosiveness and power. Floyd is bulking up and seems to be focusing on the KO....so I expect to see some more juice from Floyd. His weight might be around 145 for the weighin and 147 on the day of the fight.<br/>
Nope. Floyd will come in the ring north of 160. Bank that.

Manny has more power at lower weights, so losing power won't be a difference. Size comes in when you start fighting on the inside, and Mayweather's brute strength would overwhelm him. Pac's born with his power, and if anything, I saw more display of it in his last fight at 144 than his other past 4 combined when it was at or closer to 147.
