No, actually that's more of a Floyd move.

 

Because he wants to be a WW fighter right now. You could argue the merits of Pac moving back down to JWW and getting some wins there, but that's not what he wants to do. The WW still has talent in it and if he wants to fight Mayweather. which will most likely happen later this year, then why bother moving down in weight.

Now if he moved down to JWW he could have fought Bradley but everyone would give him ****, and rightfully so, if he brought Bradley up to WW.

So staying at WW and given everything else pointed out about opponents can you suggest a better fight?

 

I would rather have seen Pacquiao move back down to 140 and beat Bradley even though that would have been an easier fight than Clottey. At least in Pac vs Bradley we would get to see both guys at their best unlike now where Pac will not be fighting at his best division.

Clottey is a better fighter than Bradley. p4p its close but in absolute terms it isn't. Clottey would probably knock seven shades of **** out of Bradley.

 

And he beat the man who Pac is going to fight next. It's revisionist history if you leave out the facts in an attempt to have a dig at Floyd. Also, whilst I love Cotto as a boxer he blatently isn't the same as he was pre-Margo whilst Mosley isn't anywhere near damaged goods.
