Pernell at 147 has to much ring generalship to keep pac at bay if the going gets tough.

A clear UD for pernell as long as no one is weight drained for the fight.

TS please watch Whitaker vs Chavez. I dont what gameplan pac would use against sweet pea. Power and speed aint gonna be much either because pernell was a tough *******.

*****s have selective memories when it comes to what they posts.

Remember the "You need to watch Dawson to be an expert thing?"

It is like Leon's "I find Amir Khan and Mayweather sexy faced" or MichiganWarrior's "Floored". Suddenly, they can not remember anymore.

The uncanny thing is I remember who the idiots are.

Whitaker would win a comfortable decision, his jab, footwork, timing & defence would have Pacquiao all over the place for the majority of the bout... Pac would have his moments but they would be few & far between, this would be a frustrating night for Pacman as the gap in boxing skill is too big... see the Floyd-Pac fight next year for a similar result.

If it does not happen next year, it would be Pac's fault!!!

You really are a stupid guy.

Whitaker was shot vs prime Trinidad & still went the whole 12 rds, this Trinidad would blow the smaller Pacquiao away most likely & Im talking prime v prime.

Why not show a picture of Chavez, a better technical boxer than Pac & one of the best pressure fighters in boxing history applying pressure to prime Whitaker ?

Answer - Because it never happened successfully... Whitaker used his boxing ability to nullify Chavez much like he would do to Pacman & as Pac`s defence isnt as good as Chavez he would get scored on rd after rd.

Wake up & stop posting bull**** !

Bit of sarcasm there ?

Ive noticed Pac fans seem more interested in blaming FMJ or any other depressing **** that involves the fight not happening rather than the actual fight... you are all sad *******s.

Newsflash - Whitaker was also a southpaw... the best southpaw of all time as it just happens.

Whitaker. Simply put, Pacquiao needs to keep the fight at mid-range, he gets beat on the outside and beat on the inside here. Whitaker's range control and overall superior ring generalmanship means he keeps the majority of the fight at range and wins the inside scraps when they arise, keeping out of a mid-range firefight.

On the outside, he dominates with his footwork, his jab, his superior defence, timing and his counter punching ability. Inside, he's more impressive to me then Pacquiao, see the Harold Brazier fight. Pacquiao doesn't really look to fight truly inside, it's always a mid-range battle with him which is where he can put his punches together and get off, not inside.

Whitaker wins a 9-3/10-2 type decision at 135. At '47, it's a bit closer but I'll still take Whitaker 8-4.

You are pinning your hope on a thing that hopefully might happen in the future.

Sure the sun would rise tomorrow, but 8 months from now thing is not my cup of tea. It never happened when they are in the prime years, it won't happen next year.

Assuming it will happen next year - good.

But what if it will not happen? What now?

The optimist in me died a long time ago.

What's the pont of these fantasy threads? I never get it. You can never prove you are right or wrong.

If I say Pac KO in 10 seconds of round 1. Who would say I am wrong? It might be a million to one shot but then anything can happen in boxing.

Is the fun of it pitting one's perception of skill against another skill?

Like these Whitaker-Pac match-ups - two very unconventional fighters fighting. Unconventional in a sense that watching body posuitioning relative to punch output is quite "weird". How would Whitaker take on someone who does not exactly fit a mold of conventional fighter. Whitaker fought fighters who are textboiok southpaw or conventional stance. Pac and like Whitaker are sometimes painful to watch. Effective but hier body positioning is out of this world. Effective for them though.

    :patsch

Whitaker hit harder than JMM you ****, he was naturally bigger & a better fighter in every area of the game than Marquez.

Seriously, I might actually miss all you pacfucs after the FMJ-Pac fight... you bring a level of comedy gold to the forum never seen before.

Nah, scrap that, I`ll be gald to see the back of you lot, only so long you can laugh at ******s before it gets boring.
