Oscar has a better jab than Pac but Pac's straight left is alot better than Oscar's straight right.

Pacquiao can definately fight on the backfoot. No doubt about it.

Pac's headmovement is better than Oscar's

Pac is definately faster than Oscar

Oscar being taller doesn't help him in this case.

Tito is a sharp puncher....a counter puncher but he does well when the pace is set by him. With Pacs style Tito woudl be force to move at a pace that he is not accustomed to. Not to say Tito wouldn't do well. But I feel the speed and intelligent aggression that PAC embodies would keep Tito off set, unable to plant his feet and tag PAC enough or flushly enough to take him out. PAC would be moving in and out, side to side all the while punching and Tito isn't incredibly sound defensivley. He might be bigger but at 140 or 135 the playing field would be even IMO. And PAC's speed and explosiness would be the cause of many fits for Tito.

I think Tito would definitley be in it till the end and still very dangerous but I feel PAC would out work and out box Tito. The reach would be a factor early on but I think pac has the skills and style to nullify Tito's reach by his footwork, movement and constant offensive activity. And Tito needs to be set in order for him to do damage and land his power punches. Wink did very well b/c he showed Tito the jab and used angles to keep Tito off balnaced while countering himself. PAC has more movment and a pretty good jab. Just my opinion and I could see PAC getting KO'd....but if I had to BET! Prime for Prime at 135 I'd go with PAC....140 is more of a toss up and I might lean towards PAC if it wasn't for the size, reach and power advantage you stated.

 

oscars left hook is much better than pacs. oscars overhand right much better especially comming down.
the most success pacs opponents have had against him have been when they get manny moving back so it does not benefit pac to fight off the back foot.
pacs head movement alone is not better than oscars but coupled with his foot movement it does make him harder to hit so i will concede that one.
the difference in speed is not enough to give pac a big advantage.
oscar being taller definitely helps oscar as manny is punching up and oscar is punching down which affects both power and stamina in both fighters.

i am talking about a mid 90s oscar not the corpse that manny fought.

 

Manny is not a backfoot fighter. If you look at ihs fights with Marquez which has been the only guy to really trouble him latley, marquez had him in trouble when he was able to back him up. They don't both have great head movement manny has good head movment, pernell had great head movement. They don't both have good jabs pernell had a great jab manny has a good one. Go ahead and start a thread asking about who had ATG jabs and I garantee you before the first page is over at least 2 people will mention pernell.

Manny is an offensive fighter, He has recently employed a lot of head and waist movement to make himself harder to hit but offense is still his game, he still fights coming forward.

The cure is go to youtube and look up Pac in Kimmel show. You need to probably see Pac sing "sometimes when we touch" one hundred times.
