    Holy crap!

The biggest change in Pacquiao that 'everyone' that follows boxing 'should' see is that Pacquiao is no longer a loose canon. Having a fight plan enabled him to focus on what he does in the ring.

    No Pac has improved.

    He has better balance.

    He is more defensively responsible.

His punch selection has more variety.

Now is Pac some great boxer now? No.

For example Pac defeated Margarito in the same manner almost EVERYONE on this forum and in boxing said you can't defeat Margo. He simply punched and then moved constantly. Only briefly stopping on the ropes when he was a little winded.

Now he got away with this due to him being probably the best conditioned athlete in boxing. But his footwork off the back foot is ALL WRONG! In the same way that Cotto's foot work off the back foot is all wrong.

So has Pac improved? Yes. Is he the boxing phenom that *******s think he is? No, not even close.

Marquez pac 1 wild one dimensional

Marquez pac 2 with gameplan refined angles right hook.. that was a huge noticeable difference 4 years after.

pac has been with opponents that highlight his attributes that cannot be denied... can he do this against a young lion? Can he do it against a masterful counter puncher Luke Marquez at 140 may at 147??

We shall see. Bradley? Ortiz? Fantasy fights are BS lets see pac do what his pactsrd minions claim would be a walk in the park.

if and when pac faces the "young lion" Victor Ortiz, it would only end up in a one-sided beatdown + brutal KO with ortiz being exposed as the berto/collazo/peterson level fighter that he is. then posters similar to you and in furtherance of your legacy, would immediately label Ortiz as a no-chin hypejob and was fought by pac only through cherry-picking and careful matchmaking :yep

oh please, if you think bradley/ortiz are better than cotto/clottey/margo, you are only exposing your stupidity and noob-boxing IQ. young lions pffftt watch abregu-bradley, peterson-ortiz, and see my post above, you're all to predictable

There is NOTHING masterful about JMM anymore. He is a guy at 135lb that can't control distance to keep a guy like Katsidis off of him. So he is forced to counter in close. That ain't going to cut it against the best at 140lb, let alone Pacman.

Stop the bullshitting Mexican fans. I thought he could have been given the nod in the second fight with Pac, but he didn't get it. Time to move on.

PBF at 147lb, is tough matchup for him.

Fantasy match ups are fun for pactsrds egos.

I think you make a good point, that Barrera, Morales and JMM were all ATG fighters. There is a big difference in skill with them compared to Hatton, Cotto, Margo ect. Only DLH was on the same level and even then he was not as good p4p as morales and barrera. I think people forget that.

pacquiao who brings millions to tha table is not gonna move a finger to make this fight. who does ortiz think he is. Ortiz has something to prove, he should be the one to work for it. Arum is not hard to find, just ask Mosely. oh and larry merchant taunted Ortiz into challenging Pacquiao. here is Ortiz's reply : i want to thank my idol pacman for his advice about this fight, he said i'm gonna win if i pressure berto lol
