I respect you for giving an analysis, even if its one I don't agree with. Props for that! Camacho wasn't wreckless, he was fast and pinpoint accurate. He wouldn't be chased around the ring by Pac, he was a great lateral mover, used a good jab, and threw comnbinations that quite honestly Pac couldn't handle with his defensive proficiencies and tendency to just cover up when overwhelmed. I can see Pac having some success in the mid rounds, but he wouldn't beat Camacho. Camacho handles Guzman by the way.
i admit that it was a half-baked one for footages of camacho at the lower weights in youtube was not that many. i might have overlooked how truly great camacho was at 130. feel free to give links of his other videos. so how do you see camacho winning by ud or by late stoppage?
as you said you haven't seen all of camacho, you need to see more to give further and fair analysis. I don't have a viedo of him against limon but most of the guys said it was his best performance at 130 lbs... i even think he could win against mayweather
I agree 100%. By the way, Pac is the wild fighter and that would serve Camacho to catch him with those famous uppercuts. Speed kills and this would possibly confuse Pac. Guzman would also lose by decision. I too would like to find some of his old fights like with Solis, Limon, and of course Rosario at 135.
Unfortunately there just isn't anything else on Utube, but I will post some rounds from the Limon fight if I can upload them to utube in the next few months. Camacho would win by decision, Manny has too good of a chin to get KO'd. The Pacquiao that beat Morrales in the 2nd and 3rd fights would give Camacho a run for his money with his improved body work and the more effective right hand. But Camacho was a bit much for him at 130 IMO. Camacho was a pompous ass and a snakey person outside of the ring and his personality was more than hard to swallow as was his style in the higher weights. But his potential H2H at the lower weights can't really be looked down on. Anyways when I put some Limon footage up I will let you know.
Hey Boricano how do you see Pac or Camacho vs Boza-Edwards (previous duel)? I have him on right now against Arguello and he is impressive and in shape. Not familiar with him outside this fight though.
Honestly, I've only seen about 3 or 4 Camacho fights at 130/135. It was enough for me to imagine how Pac-Camacho would go, but not enough to see how Camacho-Guzman would go. I would favor Camacho over both though.. Pac definitely, Guzman logically, it would be a very difficult style for him as well. I would need to watch Camacho against another top level slick fighter before saying Guzman would have no chance against him. Also, not to sound like a nuthugger, but I believe we have not seen Guzman at his best yet, extremely motivated for a big, tough fight. Perhaps we'll see it against Campbell. If his stamina improves at 135, there's no doubt in my mind that he will clean out the division and retire an ATG.
yep...you know pacD thinks that every other all time guy was favored against pac but he was wrong, like one guy said he favored pac over whitaker with his come forward aggressive swarming style see this HL vid of whitaker for example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_G5v_PNsl4Q pac with his fast hands and aggressiveness would have caught whitaker and possibly hurt him..possibly KO I am a fan of pac, but i analyze and see things fairly as they are..pacD may be pac's no.1 fan around here but as you all know he's not to be taken seriously when it comes to this things:yep
Whitaker??? yikes:yikes Are you talking the 135lb Whitaker??? yikes:yikes Pac possibly KO'ing that Whitaker??? yikes:yikes Pernell Whitaker??? yikes:yikes He of Sweet Pea fame??? yikes:yikes From Virginia??? yikes:yikes
