It all comes down to how well Pac carries his power. We all saw Duran jump to 147 to whip Duran. And even all the way to MW to take out Hagler and beat Barkley. We all saw Shane jump up 2 weight classes to beat Oscar too. Alot of people put emphasis on Gomez weight being a factor and him being a dificult fight for Cotto, but in the end all that mattered was class. If Pac carries enough power, thats all that will matter, class. Hatton is severely underrated. If he wins its not so much the size advantage, its the fact that he has that extra size + he is p4p.
Hatton is too powerful for Pacman. Pac has never faced any fighter as strong as Hatton. Though Pacs chances may be very slim it can't be ruled out that Pac can get lucky. Hatton cannot under estimate Pacs power. In my personal opinion Pac has around 15-20% chance of beating the Hitman.
I've posted this on another thread: Just some thoughts for everyone please read what i had been thinking: When floyd was campaigning at 130-135, DLH was at 147 that time sometimes even going 154, 160 as you all know. By that time how would we think of a fantasy match up between floyd and DLH? Most of us will predict DLH by KO, because DLH is too big, too strong for floyd. Am I right? When pac was just a flyweight(112) that time, MAB was already at 122. If we match them up by that time, what would most of us predict? Of course we won't give pac a chance do we now, The general consensus would say MAB by TKO/KO, remember that MAB was a beast at 122. Ok, i'm not into the idea of a hatton-pac fight. I just posted 2 examples, because this seems to be the reason why some pac fans believe pac could even beat hatton. There are many examples through out history as you all know, perhaps this is what is in their mind. Discuss Anyway I think hatton stops him by a body shot
I tend to agree COZ they are fighting at the comfort zone (weight category) of Hatton but if the fight at 135lbs Pac by UD.. if they fight at 130lbs pac by KO! :hey
