The way some people here are talking about Hatton, chinny, can't handle speed, open to lefts etc. its a wonder the guy has won any fights at all let alone a world title.
Anyone who has followed Hattons whole career like i have knows he is a fighter on the decline, he is being hurt by shots now he used to walk through.
who the **** is this uppercut idiot anyway? Kind of strange that he joined the same day as the fight and is now flooding the forum with his pieces of **** posts.
hatton won't be able to go in the inside... pac's superior hand and foot speed will prevent him to. pac will snap that right jab out there (pac has a longer reach) and hit him w/ that long range right hook and very fast and sharp combos punctuated by that straight left. hatton will absorb a ton of punches, will get cuts and maybe gets stop late. the diaz fight was the blueprint. speed kills.
That is bending the truth somewhat Pngo. Hatton had punched himself out and was only really troubled very very late on by Collazo. Again, 147 is not his natural fighting weight - Billy Graham has said he doesn't want Hatton to fight at 147 ever again...He knows 140 is the only place for Hatton. I think that the Hatton vs Pac fight is some kind of wierd weight role reversal thing similar to Hatton Collazo (if you get what I mean). :think I still think Pac by UD or possibly late KO.
Right now Manny Pacquiao vs Ricky Hatton looks to be one of the biggest fights in the making.. Maybe even bigger than Cotto vs Mayweather or even Kelly Pavlik vs Joe Calzaghe.. This would be an explosive fight with a lot of blood.. If Pacquiao can carry his power and speed up to 140, which I think he could, then this would be an even fight IMO.. The fight would definitely not go all 12 rounds, but a KO will be the outcome for sure.. Pacquiao would have to fight the right fight to beat Diaz and try to not let him come in the inside a lot.. If Pacquiao can keep Hatton from the inside and fight just like he did tonight, I could see him winning.. Pacquiao would have to catch Hatton when he would come to the inside and to not stay in front of Hatton after delivering punches.. Pacquiao's straigher punches would get to Hatton first.. With this, I could definitely see Pacquiao beating Hatton, but I don't think he destroys him.. A very close, explosive fight that would end in spectacular fashion..
I see what you are saying but Hatton isn't keeping up with Pac's lateral movement. Hatton would come straight forward and eat straight lefts, then Pac would step to the side and repeate the process. This is assuming Pac would be as fast as he was tonight, I think he would be.
