I don't agree.... I had it a draw at the time of the stoppage, or maybe Pavlik up by a round. His punches seemed to effect Taylor a great deal more than Taylors did him. Taylor was the quicker man, but I could see the punches accumulating and having a effect on Taylor, although I predicted the fight to be Taylor by UD.
JT head did not snap back b/c he hunches forward in his posture..so that right there you dont know what the **** you are talking about..JT was snapping pavlikes head back and brutalizing his body...
Taylor said he thought he was losing the fight, period. Pavlik said he thought he was winning the fight. HBO had Pavlik winning the fight, so I dont what else to tell you. We all know how reliable boxing judges are.
Taylor's movement and athleticism was giving Kelly trouble, but as the fight progressed, he started to back him up more and land very hard, clean jabs. Sorry about that 3,000!
Just watch the goddamn fight again and pay attention to Jermain Taylor and you will see how Pavliks jabs connect on him cleanly snapping his head back.
Well, guess you can comfort yourself with how "clean" Taylor's punches supposedly land, while Pavlik comforts himself with how hard his punches actually land.
Bigtime , you got burned twice. I remember how sure you were Miranda was going to destroy Pavlik. Did you bet money on that fight too?
Ok I didnt read all the posts before i posted my above . Still dont see how you can have the same card as that poster.
JT needs to usehis brain, thats his damn problem. His boxing IQ is very low. And he will 4ever struggle in his fights if he doesnt start using his head. This fight was suppose 2 b over in the 2nd round. But Jermain wants to throw wild and smother his punches:-( Damn Jermain
